Let me introduce myself! Art has been an obsession since I could color with a crayon. It’s the only thing I’ve ever been confident about. It’s what defined me growing up, besides being that weird kid…..

Of course my inner critic is in there too….. and she is brutal. But when I create from a whim, inspiration, some grand idea that just popped into my head, that’s where the real high begins. The hyper focus and losing myself in a project makes everything better. Without out that drive to make things, I would be lost.

I’ve also done art professionally for over 26 years. From designing “ugly sweaters” (aka secretary sweaters) right out of college, to clothing, textiles, home goods, tattoos. That has had its highs and very lows. Major imposter syndrome…especially as a tattooer, which lead me to leave that profession all together for three years straight.
